Atlas of Ice and Fire
Over a year ago I embarked on the
Wheel of Time Atlas
project, which unfortunately stalled due to dissatisfaction with the maps I was using. After some consideration I decided to redraw the main map at a much higher scale to make continuing that project easier. This has taken a while but has now been done.
The main differences are the much higher scale, a new and clearer way of depicting mountains, the use of coloured backdrops and the addition of flags and more locations that were missing from the previous versions of the map. Hopefully this is much better for everyone checking the map out.
Technical note: I’m informed that these very-high-resolution maps are not rendering correctly on some mobile devices, particularly some types of Android mobile phone. As far as I can tell this is an automatic process to save memory and space. At the moment I am not aware of a work-around. The maps should register at full resolution via PC, tablet and most other devices.

Found some info for you while I was looking for Maps of the aiel waste...
Shara is known to have five walled seaports along the southern shore, in which all foreign seaborne trading is done. Only a few maps showing the Shara shoreline exist, and many are incomplete, for simply coming within sight of the eastern coast brings a fierce and often deadly response from the natives. The five walled ports in the south are the only allowed landfall for foreign vessels, and the Sea Folk (at least) are wise enough to avoid the chance of shipwreck anywhere else along that coastline.
Also in Chapter sixteen they show a map of Shara with 5 diamonds on the bottom, and they're labeled "safe Ports". That's the only way to access their lands it seems. How can we put this in? Create 5 names that are Randlandish? I haven't found any evidence of a name, just these refrences.
Kept reading and saw this under Chapter sixteen as well:
With the Ocean on two sides and mountains, cliffs, and a chasm on the other two, Shara has had little difficulty in limiting foreigners' access. All outsider trade is strictly confined to the six speciall

I have FINALLY finished my full-color versions of my World Map for the Wheel of Time! This has been a work in progress since coming home from last year’s WoTCon… just in time for WoTCon this year! I unveiled the previous version on canvas last year, and it was a smash hit. But people right away started asking for a full-color version. Well, you asked, I listened. Who loves you, Dragonsworn???
