Ruins of Wyveria Fucium Ore Farming Route
Exit the Base Camp, get the node to the left, then move to Area 1 to mine the outcrop there.
Move to Area 4, mine the outcrops there, and use the hanging vines in Area 5 to reach the other node.
Fast travel to the Entangled Canopy and move to 11 to mine the outcrop there.
Fast travel to the Gap in Rubble Pop-Up Camp and mine the outcrops near the camp and in Area 7.
Try and get the mining outcrop at the very bottom of the environment. If this takes too long, you can rest to reset the outcrops instead.
Fucium Ores are mined from Mining Outcrops in the High Rank version

Fucium Ore locations are found by mining ores in Ruins of Wyveria in High Rank
— an area unlocked by progressing the questline until High Rank starts in Chapter 4.
Once you have unlocked High Rank, visit Ruins of Wyveria and
set a marker on one of the
Mining Outcrops
— for example, there’s one just out of the base camp and to the left. Your mount should automatically take you to the ore.
Mine the rock and you’ll have a chance to get Fucium Ore. While it’s pretty common, it’s still considered a “rare” ore, so not every Mining Outcrop is guaranteed to have it. Ride your mount from Mining Outcrop to Mining Outcrop — if you set your marker while riding your Seikret, it’ll move automatically — until you eventually find some.

, especially if you want to craft any of the fancy new weapons you've unlocked with Gemma the smithy. You're probably thinking that you can't recall finding this material during Low Rank, and you'd be right since it's specific to High Rank.

get Fucium Ore from mining outcrops in the Ruins of Wyveria once you arrive in High Rank
. You'll know you're in High Rank since you'll have completed the main story and will have just fought the Yian Kut-Ku. Since you won't need Fucium Ore to craft any weapons before this point, it's unlikely that you'd be searching for this material in Low Rank anyway.
