Monster hunter world skip cutscenes

My friends are getting so turned off by this game because of the contrast of awesome action and super lame characters and cut scenes in a non story driven game.

They are unnecessarily long, detract from the experience, and they do not add anything of value or relevance at all to the game.

I've had far too many friends buy this game on sale, comment on how beautiful it was, and never progress past 10 hours of gameplay.

The monster introductions and kill/capture ones are totally fine because they have always been a part of the series...but 10 years ago when I was playing MH Freedom...I never remember feeling frustrated that I was forced to watch literal HOURS of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t


I would honestly rather stare at a loading screen than have to watch the cut scenes ever again.

They are preventing a pretty decent chunk of players from enjoying this game.


Please update your game and allow us to skip the cut scenes.
They are worthless and they should not be forced on us.


I tried streaming a new game where I did bow only gameplay....but then I was greeted with an hour of Non-gameplay and unskippable cutscenes before I said "NOPE" and q

To skip cutscenes in the game, you can use the designated button to skip them. Do so until the
green circle
around the touchpad icon becomes full.

Certain cutscenes can also be paused. If you wish to do so, press the corresponding button to stop it, giving you time to prepare yourself.

You can press the button again to resume playing the cutscene.



Once you view a cutscene for the first time, they will be
saved in the Gallery
where you can
rewatch
them. The Gallery can be found by going to the
Title Screen Menu

By selecting the saved data after selecting the gallery, a list of movies that you have seen with that character will be displayed.

If there are multiple saved data, it will not be shared, and only what you see with the selected character can be played.



When watching cutscenes, your
Hunter, Palico, and Seikret's current appearances
will be reflected instead

has a cutscene to help give more story outside of the conversations had while riding your Seikret. Depending on how much time you have to play or if you're just trying to rush through the base game to unlock High Rank grinding, some players may want to just outright skip the cutscenes to save time.

You can rewatch any cutscene you've already seen during the story anytime, but you'll first need to save and exit the game. Return to the main menu either by using the Title Screen option in the main menu or closing out of the game and starting it back up again. After clicking through the title screen, you'll see the
