The Glowing Guardfish
Seal-Folk
The Glowing Guardfish understands the importance of being one with the fish but goes perhaps too far. These men and women of the seal-folk shed their pelts to come walk upon the shore as humans, it is said. They are people so in-tune with the ocean that they can quickly transform if given their pelt into something more seal than human. I refuse to catch them, as I admire them immensely. Perhaps one day I shall meet one properly, and we might talk the ways of the seas.

Soulspire is a Mining resource node that requires the Pickaxe to harvest. With the tool equipped, walk up to the resource node and press the
E key
to gather and add it to your inventory.
Soulspire looks like a thick wooden vine with purple crystals shaped like thorns. Its core emits a whitish-purple glow.
Soulspire are commonly found in meadows near various rocky formations, particularly in Everfall and Monarch's Bluff.
Everfall contains a lot of Soulspire locations scattered across the meadows east of Everfall Hamlet.
Soulspires in Monarch's Bluff can be found by the edges of the area, just east of Monarch's Bluff Hamlet. They're either near a body of water or mountainous areas.
You can find three Soulspires in the areas surrounding
Brackwater Village
,
Dromgoole
, and
Ballard's Manor
west of the region's fort. Another can be found north of
Walsham's Field
southeast of the fort.
You can only find Soulspires in the corners of
Periville
northwest of the
Chimney Rock State Park

About the Park
Located in Rutherford County 25 miles southeast of Asheville, Chimney Rock State Park offers some of North Carolina's most dramatic mountain scenery, overlooking Hickory Nut Gorge and Lake Lure. Visit the fee-based Chimney Rock attraction, hike to Hickory Nut Falls and take an elevator or climb to the top of the park's namesake, a 315-foot freestanding rock spire. It also has the most facilities, including riverside areas, interpretive exhibits, and gift shops. The free Rumbling Bald access provides a more rugged backcountry experience.
Camping
There are no camping facilities at Chimney Rock. The closest state park with camping is Lake James State Park.
