Legacy world of solitaire
Solitaire Games
This section highlights our games that have built-in solitaire opponents. A few of the games (like the Fields of Fire games and Cactus Air Force) are designed to be played ONLY solitaire. The rest are designed to be played with more players, but do have a built-in solitaire system included.
There are two other games we'd like to direct your attention to:
1.
NightFighter
: is not a solitaire game, but shortly after publication, Dr. Phil Sabin, Professor of Strategic Studies in the War Studies Department of King’s College London, approached designer Lee Brimmicombe-Wood about creating a set of solitaire rules for the game. Lee agreed, and subsequently put his official stamp of approval on Dr. Sabin's solitaire ruleset, which is available from our website, here. Enjoy!
2.
Space Empires
: Although this is not a solitaire game, it does have a couple of solitaire scenarios (and the expansion has more!) that are really fun to play. See a sample AAR of one of the solitaire scenarios posted on BGG, here.

★ ★ ★ New Stuff
HD Cards
Cards are now in glorious HD! They look especially great on high DPI "retina" displays.
Long Stacks
When a stack becomes too tall to fit on the screen, the cards now automatically squeeze themselves together to fit on the screen!
Larger Cards
Multiple games now feature larger sized cards! This is thanks to the long stack support. No longer do you need to choose between "Largest Size" or "Best Looking" as cards are now both of those things, all the time!
Pause
You can now Pause the game at any time!
Game Save/Restore
Games are now automatically saved at all times. If your computer crashes or loses power or you acidentally close the browser, you can simply "Restore" the game you were last playing, resuming right where you left off!
Redeal Counter
Games with a limited number of redeals now show you how many redeals you have left.
Next Card Note
Some games require a specific card on a specific spot. Those games now show you what card you need next for each spot!

World of Solitaire
Greetings!
The update I previewed a few days ago is now live on the main site!
It's been a bit bumpy over the past 24 hours and I've fixed a multitude of issues.
I've gotten lots of useful feedback, so please keep it coming: robert@telparia.com
Original Version
The new version works great if you have a modern computer from the past 4 or 5 years.
If your computer is older, has enlarged text or a smaller display, the new version may not be the best experience.
The original version can be played here: legacy.worldofsolitaire.com
It will ALWAYS be available at that location, from now until the end of time :)
Sadly, the original version does not have stats or challenges due to technical reasons. Sorry :(
Future
Going forward I will continue to fix issues, make improvements and add new things!
The update will allow me to add new games and features much more easily!
I hope you all continue to enjoy playing, whether on the new site or the legacy site!

World Of Solitaire
Is the World of solitaire easy to play? Which strategy helps you always win fast with high scores? The below article will help you answer these questions.
Here, we will show you how to play this online game in detail.
At the start of the game, if you see any cards which have different colours on the tableau, arrange them in descending order and in alternating colours. For example, you can place a Seven of Heart on an Eight of Spade. If there is a vacancy on the tableau, you can fill it with a King or a stack of cards starting with a King. If there are no more playable cards on the tableau, you can flip a card in the stockpile. Whenever you get stuck, click the Hint button on the bottom of the screen to get suggestions about possible moves. If you regret your move, click the Undo button to reverse your last move. Do your best to move all cards on the tableau to four foundations. Each foundation must be organised in ascending sequence and in a suit.
Besides, the game has no time limit. It only ends when there is no possible move left or you can complete all four foundation piles. Therefore, you can spend hours or even a day contemplating your next move.
