On May 29, our UPS Worldship software stopped connecting to the server. As far as we can tell no updates to our system were done. The last window update was May 16.
Now when we open UPS Worldship it does a communication setup. I check “direct Access”, next, then “Test”. It comes back with this error:
Could not connect using Direct Access . HTTPCOMM Error: Unable to connect 31610 Test Failed. Please check Direct Access Settings.
I have installed this on another computer. it gave me the same error.
I Installed this on a laptop, and took it outside my network (thinking maybe the firewall blocked it). and it gave me the same error.
I have turned off the Windows Firewall. and same error
I have contacted Tech Support. They told me to turn off the firewall. I told them I could not expose my network. they also asked to go to GoToAssist, but right now our security requirements do not allow the download of their program. I’m working on if I can bypass this.
Anyone got any ideas? Tech Support didn’t tell me if this is a wide problem or just me.
